From the Pastor…
It is a pleasure and privilege to be with you the people of Samuel Lutheran Church during this interim time between called pastors. I am looking forward to continuing to meet people each week as I work in my role serving as your supply pastor. If I have not had a chance to meet you yet, please introduce yourself – I would enjoy getting to know you and your family!
My role as “stated supply pastor” is to fulfill the responsibilities of pastor of Samuel until such time that Samuel calls a new pastor or I am called to a congregation. I will be present here in Muskegon about two and a half days per week, with time divided between worship leadership, meetings, visitation, and office. My plan is to be available on Tuesdays and Thursdays during the week, as well as on Sundays and for emergencies.
Please do not hesitate to call on me! I look forward to our ministry together in the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ!

ENJOY THE CONVENIENCE OF ELECTRONIC GIVING
Samuel wants to inform you that we will be offering electronic giving as a way to automate your regular weekly offering. Electronic giving offers convenience for individual congregation members and provides much-needed donation consistency for our congregation. Authorization forms are available on the table in the narthex (lobby) or from Melissa Pfenning, Merry Nyblade, or the church office. By filling out the form you will be authorizing your financial institution to electronically deposit the amount of money you choose to Samuel Lutheran Church. You will have a choice of depositing weekly (on Monday), monthly on the 1st, or monthly on the 15th. At the present time we have two (2) funds set up for you to choose from: the Current Fund and the Maintenance & Repair Fund.
